These special colourway is a one-off dye, handdyed with just four colours to create a riot of colour on a skein. Colours melt and merge into each other, with no two repeats the same. The yarn will give you a beautiful blended finished project, with no pooling. Each skein is unique, although they were dyed together in small dye lots. Three main dye lots are available, with a main colourway and a purple and grey variation.
This yarn is perfect for quick knits, cosy cowls, chunky crochet hats or use 2 skeins for a pair of cosy slipper socks. Humble Solo is a supersoft single ply 100% merino yarn, which takes the dye in a really interesting way, creating great depth in your projects. Perfect for everyday wear next to your skin, this yarn works up really fast and is very bouncy with a supersoft finish.
Machine washable, although we always advise hand washing.
100% superwash merino
All the yarns are hand dyed by me, in my small home studio in Devon. I use professional dyes that are non toxic, and colourfast. The yarn is painted or kettle dyed by hand, then steam set until the dye has fully exhaust, washed and carefully rinsed before being hung outside to dry in the sea breeze ( when the weather allows – for really rainy days we have an indoor drying area too!). We take steps to reduce our environmental impact, and you’ll find an eclectic mix of new, repurposed and upcycled equipment in the studio, which is partially solar powered. I take all photos using natural daylight, and although I do my best to show them in their true colour, monitors can vary.
